ARE YOU BIRMINGHAM’S CREATIVE FUTURE?
The Gallery37 Residency is Birminghams flagship creative development programme investing in the city’s next generation of artists, with an alumni of over 200 artists.
This FREE programme offers Birmingham based artists (16-25 years) a significant opportunity to boost their career in the creative industries, focused on nurturing creative talent from across the cities diverse communities and neighbourhoods.
Focusing on multiple artforms, we experiment and collaborate, responding to the next generation of creatives, makers and producers. We offer personal, professional and creative development support and opportunities and aim to help build and encourage artists to fulfil their ambitions.
ABOUT THE GALLERY37 residency 2021
This years programme is a two week experience; where we will develop up to 100 hand-picked young creatives (16-25) across 10 creative camps with nationally recognised specialist artists & tutors.
You will get the chance to develop your skills in your chosen artform, meet like-minded creatives, and be supported by established & nationally renowned artists. All in a socially distanced environment.
Induction
All camps: Wednesday 18th August at Aston University Campus
Residency dates (You must attend and be available for BOTH weeks):
Week one: Monday 23rd August - Friday 27th August, 10pm til 6pm
Week two: Monday 30th August - Friday 3rd September, 10pm til 6pm
Showcase:
Visual Arts: Friday 3rd September
All Camps (besides Visual Arts): Saturday 4th September
Location:
All camps (besides Visual Arts) will be based at Aston University Campus.

Are you Birmingham’s creative future? Gallery37 is your chance to take the future into your own hands. Spaces are extremely limited - there are only 10 available per creative camp.
Applications will close on Sunday 11th July at 12pm, midday.
Requirements:
• You must be available for the dates outlined above
• You must be aged between 16 - 25
• You must be based in Birmingham or in the surrounding areas of the West Midlands
